Below are the 8 major differences between Farm Corr’s Enhanced Polypropylene (EPP) and PVC Plastic Wall Systems
You may have heard of PVC Wall Systems such as Duramax, Trusscore and Tuffcorp. Farm Corr should not be confused with these competing PVC Wall Systems. Here are several key differences:
1. Farm Corr has been ASTM E1886 Large Missile 2 x 4′ Tested to repel windborne debris in winds up to 130 mph. PVC Wall Systems do not meet this rigorous Lab Test Standard.
2. Farm Corr’s EPP Plastic is a Level 5 Food-Safe Plastic and is recognized by the FDA for being Food Safe. In contrast, PVC Wall systems are not FDA-recognized, nor Food Safe.
3. Farm Corr’s operating temperatures are from -30 to 160 Degrees Fahrenheit. In contrast, PVC Wall Systems will get brittle in cold weather and expand in heat. Please see Trusscore’s “Cold Weather Bulletin:
https://trusscore.com/
Here, the preferred temperature for Trusscorp is between 50 and 68 degrees. This eliminates the Midwest States, which are only those temperatures for 3 or 4 months of the Calendar Year.
4. Farm Corr fastens to 4 to 6 total studs, versus just 1 stud by PVC Wall Systems. If you watch the Installation Videos from Trusscore, Duramax and/or Tuffcorp, you will see that ONLY ONE side of their 4 sided panel has a nail fin to screw into. The 2nd long side of PVC Wall Systems is held in place by the adjoining panel. The top & bottom (3rd and 4th sides) are held in place by the PVC trim pieces on the top (ceiling) and bottom (kick plate) moldings.
5. PVC Wall Systems require customers to buy “Slatwall” to hang anything. These slatwall systems, for a 50 x 96″ piece will cost anywhere from $88 to $217.30 at Home Depot (Internet #321383220, Model #702002000).

A Slatwall may look okay in the garage pictured above, but what about having a Slatwall in your living room? Would your spouse be happy with bringing your garage wall storage system “look” into your home?
6. Farm Corr White Panels can support over 50 lbs per location, using Spring Hollow-Wall Toggle Anchors between the studs!
7. Farm Corr has a fast and simple way to join the Stud Seams. In contrast, with Trusscore, Duramax and Tuffcore, they have 16 inch vertical seams that are hard to ignore.
8. Farm Corr’s MSRP is under $100. PVC Wall Systems cost significantly more. For example, Home Depot sells an 8 pack of their white, 16″ x 8 feet long Trusscore panels for $299. That is $37.35 per 16″ wide panel. Since 3 of these are needed for a 4 x 8′ wall, that would cost $112 for 4 x 8′ in wall coverage, with vertical seams every 16 inches. Plus, you’d have to travel to Home Depot with a huge pickup truck and trailer to pick up hundreds of 16″ wide x 8 foot long Trusscore pieces. In contrast, Farm Corr is shipped DIRECTLY to your home or business, for a nominal extra charge.
