3 Main PVC Wall System Brands
There are 3 main PVC Wall brands: Trusscore, EZ LINER & Duramax. Each sells identical 16” wide by 8 foot long PVC Plastic nail-fin tongue-in-groove application where only 1 of 6 sides is screwed to the wall studs. Here are their names, locations and estimated retail costs:
- Trusscore of Ontario, Canada. Home Depot sells an 8 pack of their white, 16” wide by 8 foot long Trusscore panels for $299. Internet #321386755, Model #702000000. That is $37.35 per 16” wide panel. Since 3 of those make up a 4 x 8’, that would cost $112 for 4 x 8’ in wall coverage, with vertical seams every 16 inches. Under “Impact” on its website, Trusscore discloses that its PVC wall panels “may become more brittle in temps below 59 degrees Fahrenheit.” This eliminates many Midwest states, as October through March, the average temperature is under 59 degrees.
- EZ LINER of Canada, is sold at Home Depot under Internet #325998705 & Model #58G26128. A 5 pack of their 16″ x 96″ long PVC Wall panels are $244.73. This would be $48.95 per 16″ x 8′ long section, or $146.84 for 4′ x 8′ in wall coverage, with 16″ vertical seams.
- Duramax of Montebello, California. Duramax’ 8 pack costs $319. That is $40 per 16” wide panel, or $120 for 4 x 8’ in wall coverage, with 16” vertical seams.
PVC Wall Systems require customers to buy “Slatwall” to hang anything. In contrast, Farm Corr customers can just drill holes in our 4′ x 8′ panels, and use hollow-wall toggle bolt drywall anchors, between the studs.
To hang anything on the Trusscore, EZ LINER or Duramax PVC Wall Systems, you are required to anticipate that need ahead of time and then you must purchase their optional “Slatwall” systems. Home Depot sells a 7 pack of Trusscore Slatwall (Internet #321383220, Model #702002000) for $217.30. Trusscore Slatwall is 7 ¼” tall by 96” long. Therefore, Trusscore’s 7 pack is enough just for 50” inches tall by 96 inches long in coverage.
A Slatwall may look okay in the garage pictured below, but what about in a living room? Would your spouse be happy with bringing your garage storage into your home?
